Round handwoven rattan lidded boxes with a tight weave and fitted tops, the Willa box set brings natural texture to everyday storage. Each finish option includes two graduated boxes, with Warm Brown, Graywash and Whitewash offering different tones across the same practical, rounded design.

Ideal for: Traditional, Transitional and relaxed Coastal interiors that combine useful storage with woven detail.

Key Features

  • Handwoven Rattan: The rattan is woven by hand in a close, regular pattern. Its visible strands give the boxes a tactile surface, making the material part of the display rather than concealing the storage function.
  • Round Form with Fitted Lids: Circular bodies and coordinating removable tops create a clear, repeated outline. Rectangular cutout handles add a straight detail to the curved sides and provide a place to grip when arranging the boxes.
  • Three Finish Options: Warm Brown emphasizes the rattan’s warm tone, Graywash offers a more muted look, and Whitewash introduces a lighter surface. Choose the finish around the surrounding wood, textiles and wider room palette.
  • Graduated Set of Two: Every finish includes one larger and one smaller box. Use the pair together for varied scale or separate them to carry the same weave across nearby surfaces.
  • Concealed Everyday Storage: The close-fitting lids keep stored items out of sight, helping a desk, shelf or console look more ordered. Use the boxes for a selected group of small essentials while leaving their woven exterior visible.
  • Versatile Woven Style: The simple round form can work with shaped Traditional furniture or quieter Transitional pieces. The lighter finishes also sit comfortably among pale textiles and relaxed Coastal materials, bringing texture without another printed pattern.

Care & Use

Interior use only. Dust with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Design & Atmosphere

The paired round forms give these storage boxes a softer outline on a shelf or console. Their graduated proportions create variation within a repeated shape, allowing the two pieces to feel coordinated without reading as identical objects.

Light picks out the individual strands within the tight weave. Warm Brown gives that surface a richer tone, while Graywash and Whitewash offer quieter alternatives, letting the same texture contribute differently to the room’s overall palette.

Display the pair with space around the rims so the woven sides remain visible. Separating them can be equally useful when two nearby areas need storage, with the shared shape providing a connection between the arrangements.

The natural texture works beside smooth ceramics, plain textiles and finished wood. A Traditional room can emphasize the warmer material contrast, while a more relaxed setting can use the lighter tones alongside woven furnishings and pale upholstery.

The useful finishing detail is the ability to put everyday items away without removing texture from the room. With the lids in place, the boxes form a composed grouping that serves a practical purpose as well as a decorative one.

Curator’s Styling Tip

Place the larger box toward the back of an open shelf and the smaller one forward on a neighboring shelf. Repeat the finish with one other woven object, leaving the rest of the arrangement simple.

Bring order and handwoven texture to a room with a coordinated pair of rattan lidded boxes.
