Gold Iron Square Side Table with Mirrored Top

Bring polished geometry and reflective depth to a seating area with this gold iron square side table, combining a mirrored inset top with bold circular metalwork and an architectural open-frame design.

Ideal for: Art Deco interiors and layered contemporary spaces seeking a compact accent table with geometric structure, warm metallic character, and reflective detail.

Key Features

• Mirrored Inset Top: A mirrored glass surface sits within the square upper frame, introducing reflection and visual depth while providing a practical tabletop for a lamp, books, or selected decorative objects. The reflective finish creates a sleek counterpoint to the textured warmth of the surrounding gold metalwork.
• Handcrafted Iron & Tole Construction: Crafted from iron and tole with a glass mirror inset, the table balances substantial materials with an open framework. The slender metal construction keeps the silhouette visually lighter beside upholstered furniture while allowing the decorative side panels to remain an integral part of the design.
• Geometric Circle Side Detailing: Repeated circular motifs fill the sides of the square frame, creating a strong geometric rhythm from multiple viewing angles. The contrast between curved forms and straight structural lines gives the table its distinctive architectural character and reinforces its Art Deco influence.
• Italian Gold Multi-Step Finish: A multi-step hand-finishing process gives the metalwork its Italian gold appearance, with visible tonal variation that adds depth across the frame and circular detailing. The warm metallic surface highlights the geometry without requiring additional ornamentation.
• Compact Square Proportions: Measuring 21.25 inches square and 24.75 inches high, the table offers a useful accent surface while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. Its proportions make it well suited beside a sofa or lounge chair where convenient surface space is needed without introducing an oversized piece of furniture.
• Reflective & Metallic Material Contrast: The mirrored top and hand-finished gold framework bring two visually distinct surfaces together in one composition. Reflection above and open geometric metalwork below introduce dimension and decorative interest without relying on a bulky solid base.

Care & Use

For interior use. As general care, dust the metalwork with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning methods that could affect the hand-finished surface. Clean the mirrored inset with a soft, lint-free cloth and a cleaner appropriate for mirrors, taking care to avoid prolonged contact between cleaning products and the surrounding metal finish.

Design & Atmosphere

With its disciplined square silhouette and repeating circular motifs, this side table has a graphic quality that gives it immediate identity. Straight structural lines establish order while the curved side details introduce movement, creating the kind of balanced geometry that works naturally within an Art Deco-inspired room without making the table feel like a period reproduction.

The Italian gold finish brings warmth to that architectural framework. Applied through a multi-step hand-finishing process, it allows subtle tonal variation to remain visible across the metalwork rather than presenting as a completely uniform surface. That variation gives the slender frame additional dimension and helps soften the precision of the geometric construction.

Scale is another important part of the design. At 21.25 inches square, the table is compact enough to settle naturally beside a sofa or lounge chair while still maintaining a defined presence. Because the sides remain open, surrounding upholstery, flooring, and other finishes can be seen through the framework, making the piece particularly useful when you want an accent table without visually closing in a seating arrangement.

The square top provides a practical landing place for the objects used around a seating area, from a lamp and reading material to a drink coaster or small decorative accent. Its mirrored inset also encourages a more considered approach to styling: leaving some of the surface exposed allows the reflective quality of the top to remain part of the table's appearance rather than disappearing beneath accessories.

That combination of usable proportions and distinctive materials makes the table adaptable within a collected interior. It can introduce a warm metallic note beside neutral upholstery, create contrast against dark wood, or repeat reflective details already present in lighting, mirrors, or decorative objects. The Art Deco influence provides personality, while the restrained scale allows the piece to integrate without requiring the rest of the room to follow a single style.

The Curator’s Styling Tip

Keep the mirrored top relatively edited so its reflective surface remains visible. A compact lamp paired with one sculptural object or a small stack of books provides function without obscuring the design. Velvet, bouclé, dark wood, black accents, marble, and warm metallic finishes can complement the geometric framework and reinforce its Art Deco character.

Introduce geometry, reflection, and warm metallic detail beside your favorite seating—this gold iron side table combines a mirrored top with distinctive circular metalwork for an accent that is both functional and visually expressive.
