Clarimond Oval Glass Hurricane Candle Holder

An oval glass hurricane candle holder with a warm matte brass-colored frame, the Clarimond hurricane pairs clear glass with aluminum and iron details for a sculptural candle display. Choose Small or Large; the Small holder is designed for LED flameless candles only.

Ideal for: Transitional and Contemporary interiors with clear glass, warm metals and clean, curved forms.

Key Features

• Glass and Metal Construction: Clear glass sits within an aluminum and iron structure. The mixed materials give the holder an open appearance while the metal base provides a distinct outline beneath the candles.
• Oval Glass Profile: The elongated oval opening creates a wider display than a round hurricane. A broad, curved metal handle follows the same direction, framing the glass from above.
• Warm Matte Brass Finish: The metal details have a brass-colored finish with a quieter sheen than highly polished metal. Warm edges contrast with the clear glass without implying that the holder is made from solid brass.
• Small and Large Options: Choose the compact Small or the taller, broader Large. Each has its own footprint, weight and candle guidance, so select the size that suits both your surface and intended display.
• Size-Specific Candle Guidance: Small is for LED flameless candles only. Large can be used with candles, following the care guidance below. Never leave a burning candle unattended. LED candles also offer an alternative for the larger holder.
• Refined Transitional Design: The simple oval shape and restrained finish suit Contemporary and Transitional interiors. It pairs with smooth stone and natural wood.

Care & Use

For interior use. Clean with a damp cloth and avoid chemicals that may harm the finish. Use only LED flameless candles in Small. Never leave a burning candle unattended when using Large.

Design & Atmosphere

The oval glass is the defining feature of this hurricane. Its longer opening gives the candle arrangement a horizontal rhythm, while the tall handle introduces a simple vertical frame. Together, these lines distinguish it from a conventional cylindrical holder.

Clear glass leaves the contents visible from different angles, with the matte brass-colored metal adding a warmer edge. Daylight picks out the rim and handle while passing through the body, so the holder contributes shape without relying on candlelight alone.

Place it on a level console or sideboard with room around the full oval footprint. The smaller option suits a more compact grouping; the larger version can anchor a broader surface. Keep surrounding accessories low enough to leave the glass and handle visible.

The restrained outline works naturally in Transitional rooms and can soften a more minimal Contemporary setting. Smooth pottery complements the clear glass, while wood brings out the warmer finish. A quieter backdrop makes the contrast between the curved opening and upright handle easier to appreciate.

The finished arrangement feels composed without needing an elaborate collection of accessories. A simple candle display lets the oval profile remain the focus, adding a warm metallic detail to an everyday room.

Curator’s Styling Tip

For the Small holder, choose LED candles of different heights that fit within its candle area. Keep the arrangement simple so the oval opening and clear glass remain visible around them.

Give your candle display an elegant oval frame with the Clarimond glass hurricane.
