Bramley Rattan Cachepots, Set of 2

A set of two hand-woven rattan cachepots with cylindrical bodies, rounded rims, and raised circular bases, designed to bring layered texture and coordinated scale to an indoor display.

Ideal for: Coastal Transitional, relaxed Traditional, and Modern Organic interiors that combine woven materials with greenery, natural wood, and soft neutral textiles.

Key Features

• Hand-Woven Rattan with a Close, Rhythmic Pattern: Fine rattan strands create a detailed weave across the sides and interiors of both cachepots. The repeated pattern adds depth to a simple cylindrical form, offering a tactile contrast to smooth furniture and glass accessories.
• Cylindrical Bodies with Raised Circular Bases: Each pot has gently rounded lower edges and a small, recessed round foot. This lifted profile gives the woven body a defined finish at the base, keeping the silhouette more composed than a simple straight-sided basket.
• Warm Brown or Whitewash Finish: Warm Brown emphasizes the contrast between the rattan strands and darker spaces within the weave. Whitewash creates a lighter effect while retaining visible texture, making it easy to choose a finish that connects with your room.
• Coordinating Set of Two Sizes: The set includes a 9.75-inch-wide pot and an 8-inch-wide pot, with complementary heights of 9.5 and 8 inches. Style them together for a graduated arrangement or separate them to repeat the same woven detail across a room.
• A Decorative Setting for Faux Greenery: The open shapes provide a textured surround for an artificial fern, grass, or floral arrangement. Choose inserts by their base dimensions and keep the rims visible so the cachepots remain part of the composition.
• Natural Texture with an Uncomplicated Outline: The simple round forms work with both traditional furniture and cleaner contemporary lines. Pair them with linen, pale ceramics, or warm woods to introduce woven detail without adding a busy decorative silhouette.

Design & Atmosphere

These rattan cachepots bring definition to a greenery display through repeated form and closely woven texture. Their cylindrical bodies keep the outline simple, while rounded lower edges and small circular feet give each piece a distinct base. The two sizes introduce variation without changing the design.

The finish changes how the weave reads in a room. Warm Brown creates stronger contrast between the individual strands and the shadows beneath them, giving the surface a rich, layered appearance. Whitewash softens that contrast and brings a paler note to the same pattern, particularly beside light upholstery and painted furniture.

At 9.5 and 8 inches high, the pots can create a coordinated grouping without occupying the same visual level. Place them together on a generous console or use them in separate areas to repeat the material. Allow room for the foliage as well as the pot itself when checking the available space.

The uncomplicated shape makes the set adaptable across several interior styles. In a coastal room, the woven surfaces connect with linen and relaxed timber finishes; among more traditional furnishings, they introduce an informal counterpoint to polished wood and framed artwork. Simple ceramics nearby can provide contrast without competing with the weave.

Filled with faux foliage or left open within a quieter display, the cachepots give an arrangement a consistent material foundation. The shared finish ties the pair together, while their different sizes let each support its own styling moment. They are useful finishing pieces when a room needs texture and continuity rather than another strong color or elaborate form.

The Curator’s Styling Tip

Try a softly spreading fern in one pot and a more upright arrangement in the other, leaving a band of rattan visible beneath the greenery. Explore our artificial flora collection and check each insert's base dimensions before pairing. Plants are sold separately.
