Hand-thrown terracotta cachepots with glazed sides and natural bases, the Armand pot set brings two coordinated sizes to a greenery display. Choose Green or Ochre, with a gently tapered shape that leaves room for the plant to take the lead.

Ideal for: Indoor plant displays in French Country and Modern Farmhouse rooms with naturally textured accessories.

Key Features

  • Hand-Thrown Terracotta: The pottery is shaped by hand, with natural differences in size and color. These variations are part of its handmade character.
  • Tapered Pot Shape: A gently flared body and rolled rim give each pot a clear, uncomplicated outline. The two sizes repeat the same form for a coordinated display.
  • Glaze and Exposed Base: Green and Ochre finishes meet an exposed natural terracotta base. The contrast between glossy color and unglazed pottery gives the vessel its two-tone appearance.
  • Matching Set of Two: One larger and one smaller pot are included in the selected color. Keep them together for a stepped arrangement or use them in separate settings.
  • Color-Specific Drainage: Green pots have drainage holes and allow direct planting. Ochre pots have no drain holes; use separate inner plant containers and manage moisture carefully.
  • Southern European Inspiration: The pottery form draws on traditional ceramics of southern Europe. It works with rustic timber, woven textiles and relaxed country interiors.

Care & Use

For interior use. Dust with a dry cloth. Green pots may be used as cachepots or planted directly; protect furniture from drainage and moisture. For Ochre, use separate inner plant containers and avoid standing water. Line interiors when needed to protect fine furniture. Protect from frost and hard freeze.

Design & Atmosphere

The two sizes make it easy to introduce greenery at different levels. Their straight-sided, gently tapered bodies provide a quieter outline than the more sculptural vases in the family, allowing the leaves above them to establish the character of the display.

Glaze gives the color a soft sheen, while the exposed lower edge keeps the pottery visible. Green continues a leafy palette; Ochre adds warmth beside darker foliage. The uneven meeting of the two surfaces adds detail without an applied ornament.

Give the pair enough separation for both plants to develop. A protected console, broad sill or sturdy plant stand provides room to appreciate the difference in scale. Keep foliage clear of the smaller pot if the two are grouped closely.

The simple profile pairs comfortably with woven baskets, worn wood and plain ceramic accessories. In a more polished room, the natural bases introduce a rougher texture that prevents a coordinated plant display from feeling overly uniform or formal.

Used together, the pots create continuity without requiring identical plants. Placed apart, their shared finish connects two corners of the room, giving each plant a considered setting of its own.

Curator’s Styling Tip

Choose one upright plant and one with a lower, spreading outline. The contrasting foliage makes the paired sizes feel intentional without relying on two identical arrangements.

Give your greenery a coordinated pottery setting with the Armand terracotta cachepot set.
