Alina Matte White Open-Frame Clay Vase

A matte white clay vase with an open rectangular frame and a slender neck, the Alina open-frame vase gives a single decorative stem a sculptural setting. Its hollow center leaves the backdrop visible, while three size options let you choose a compact accent or a taller focal point.

Ideal for: Modern Organic, Minimalist and Transitional interiors with pale finishes and uncluttered surfaces.

Key Features

• Handcrafted Clay: The clay body combines gently shaped edges with a substantial, sculptural profile. Each handcrafted piece varies in size and color, giving the finished object its own subtle character.
• Open-Frame Form: A rectangular opening passes through the center beneath sloped shoulders and a narrow neck. This unusual silhouette offers interest from different angles without filling the entire outline with solid material.
• Matte White Glaze: The low-sheen white surface keeps attention on the vase’s contours. It offers a quiet counterpart to patterned textiles, darker wood and objects with a more reflective finish.
• Three Size Options: Choose Short, Medium or Tall to suit the available space. Each size is sold separately, so a single vase or a graduated arrangement can be selected to fit your display.
• Decorative Stem Display: The narrow neck suits the simple line of a single decorative stem. The vase also works empty as a sculptural object, allowing the open frame to remain the main feature.
• Modern Organic Character: Clear geometry meets softened edges for an architectural accent with a relaxed feel. The neutral finish complements both pared-back rooms and Transitional settings that mix contemporary and traditional furniture.

Care & Use

Dust with a dry cloth. For decorative indoor use only. Handcrafted variations in size and color are part of each piece’s individual appearance.

Design & Atmosphere

The open center gives this sculptural vase an identity beyond the familiar bottle form. A glimpse of the wall or furniture behind it becomes part of the composition, connecting the object to its setting.

Daylight picks out the shoulders and softens across the matte glaze. Against a darker backdrop, the white outline becomes more pronounced; beside pale plaster or linen, it reads as a quieter tonal detail.

Use the Short size within a shelf arrangement, the Medium on a console or the Tall where a stronger vertical accent is needed. Leave surrounding space so the opening remains visible from the room.

The shape sits comfortably with rounded furniture and woven textures, but its geometry also complements straighter lines. Pairing it with timber, stone or glass changes the mood without requiring a different color palette.

A single stem introduces a looser line above the structured body. Left empty, the vase offers the same considered presence, making a familiar corner feel composed without adding another busy surface or elaborate floral arrangement.

Curator’s Styling Tip

Place a dark, low bowl beside the vase rather than in front of its opening. The contrast makes the white frame easier to read and keeps the arrangement visually balanced.
