Remy Graywash Rattan Serving Platter with Glass Insert

A graywash rattan serving platter with a removable glass insert, the Remy round platter pairs a hand-woven base with a smooth, washable surface. Its shallow profile and softly muted finish bring natural texture to an indoor tabletop arrangement.

Ideal for: Boho, Modern Farmhouse and Transitional interiors with layered natural textures.

Key Features

• Hand-Woven Rattan: The woven base brings visible variation and a tactile surface to the design. A close circular weave gives the platter its distinctive pattern.
• Round, Shallow Form: A raised woven rim frames the circular center without the height of a deep basket. The low edge keeps the contents easy to see.
• Graywash Finish: A soft graywash settles across the rattan, allowing the weave to remain visible. The subdued tone works with pale pottery, wood and neutral table linens.
• Tabletop Scale: The broad circular shape offers room for an arranged display while keeping a low profile. Check the overall and insert dimensions against your intended setting.
• Removable Glass Insert: The separate glass insert lifts away from the rattan for hand washing. It provides a smooth surface while keeping the woven pattern visible beneath it.
• Relaxed Interior Style: Natural texture and a muted finish suit Boho and Modern Farmhouse rooms. The simple outline also fits a quieter Transitional arrangement.

Design & Atmosphere

The circular weave gives this platter a clear visual center, with the raised rim drawing a neat boundary around an arrangement. Its shallow form reads as a tabletop layer rather than a tall basket, leaving the objects above it in view.

Through the glass, the woven pattern remains part of the composition. Reflections introduce a smoother note against the textured rattan, while the graywash softens the overall color. This combination adds interest without a bright accent or elaborate painted decoration.

On a dining table or sideboard, the round outline can gather a small group of accessories into one considered display. Leave some of the glass clear around them so the weave remains visible and the arrangement has room to breathe.

The neutral finish works comfortably with washed linens, pale ceramics and light timber. Darker wood provides a stronger contrast, while black accents give the relaxed material a more defined setting. Keep neighboring patterns simple when you want the weave to stand out.

The appeal lies in that balance of texture and restraint. It offers an easy foundation for changing decorative arrangements, bringing a sense of order to a tabletop while retaining the warmth and variation that make woven materials inviting.

Curator’s Styling Tip

Arrange three small decorative objects in an uneven triangle, with one taller piece at the back. Avoid filling the entire circle; a visible border of glass makes the grouping feel intentional.

Bring a softer woven texture to your tabletop with this graywash rattan platter and glass insert.
