Nerine Light Blue Mouth-Blown Decorative Glass Bowl

A light blue decorative glass bowl with a flowing waved rim, the Nerine glass bowl brings a watercolor-like wash of color to a tabletop display. Mouth-blown glass gives the form its organic outline, with color within the glass rather than sprayed onto the surface. Choose a compact Small bowl or a broader Large profile.

Ideal for: Coastal and Transitional interiors that pair expressive glass with pale colors, natural textures and quieter surrounding objects.

Key Features

• Mouth-Blown Glass: The bowl is shaped by mouth blowing, giving its open form a fluid character. The glass itself supplies decorative interest, so the piece can be displayed empty without needing an elaborate arrangement.
• Organic Waved Rim: An undulating edge rises and falls around the opening. Small has a more upright, rounded profile, while Large spreads into a wider, lower outline; both use the same flowing design language.
• Color Within the Glass: Light blue and pale, cloud-like areas create a watercolor-inspired appearance. The pot-color glass process places color within the material rather than applying a sprayed surface finish.
• Two Distinct Scales: Choose Small for a compact decorative accent or Large for a broader centerpiece. Each bowl is sold separately, with its own proportions and weight detailed in the specifications.
• Decorative Surface Display: Use the open bowl as a sculptural accent on a coffee table, console or shelf. Leaving part of the interior visible allows the mottled blue color and changing rim height to remain the focus.
• Coordinated Coastal Character: The soft blue palette works with woven textures, linen and natural wood. Pair it with the matching Nerine vase for a related glass detail, or use one bowl as a quieter standalone accent.

Care & Use

For indoor use. Handwash the glass. Avoid detergents or chemicals that might harm the finish.

Design & Atmosphere

The waved opening gives this decorative bowl its identity. Raised folds and lower curves create an irregular outline, allowing the glass to feel expressive without relying on a separate applied pattern or an arrangement of objects inside.

Light reveals the pale and deeper blue areas within the glass. Viewed from above, the interior shows a different balance of color from the sides, making the open bowl worth appreciating from more than one angle.

Allow clear space around the rim so its full shape can be seen. The Small option suits a tighter arrangement, while the wider Large bowl needs more open tabletop to keep its spreading outline from feeling crowded.

Natural wood and woven textures give the color a relaxed coastal setting. Against smooth stone or painted furniture, the same glass introduces a softer detail, bringing movement to a room with straighter lines and quieter surfaces.

The finished display can feel composed without becoming elaborate. One bowl offers a distinct point of color, while a carefully spaced pairing adds another height or shape without obscuring the glass that makes the arrangement interesting.

Curator’s Styling Tip

Place the coordinating vase beside the bowl, leaving open tabletop on the opposite side. Keep both rims visible so the difference in height and proportion gives the pairing its structure.
